2006 Significant moments
We knew Matt Johnson would ask so here are our significant moments from 2006:
James:
Walking out of my viva with a PhD
Last ever gig- Greenbelt 07… truly awesome rock gig with a champagne toast at the end
Mainstage gig at Slot Festival Poland in the courtyard of Europe’s largest baroque palace.
Taking boats and emergency supplies to the flood victims in central Thaialnd.
Friday night visits to Suan Lum night bazaar
Liverpool leaving party at the Royal Standard- what an amazing bunch of friends we have.
Being in Bangkok… I love the Big Mango.
M.Div. class presentations- so creative and imaginative- well done class!
Learning a few Thai phrases then going out and getting them hilariously wrong.
Losing my beautiful flowing ice-cream hair… sometimes I weep.
Kate:
James getting his PhD - an amazing achievement.
Deciding to go to Thailand and actually doing it.
The send off given by friends and family - we are so proud of you.
Selling our flat - The final walk down our many flights of stairs was an emotional one.
Leaving Brava Design - such a hard decision.
Our parents moving to new homes... we are so happy for them.
New babies - well done friends!

Its so cool to read your little recap of 2006 best bits, I just wanted to say how proud I am of you both, you have both achieved so much in 2006 and I know 2007 will be another amazing year for you both.
Kate, you are an awesome big sister (although you're atually very little!)and James you are a fantastic brother-in-law! You are both an inspiration and I'm looking forward to seeing what God has in store for you both this new year!....sorry this note got a bit gushy!
