Delayed Trains and Suki

We have been in Thailand for 2 and a half weeks now and it is starting to feel very normal, we walked out of our house this morning and an elephant walked past which didn't seem weird!

Mondays are our day off, today we got the train to Ayuthaya, an ancient capital. The train was an hour late arriving, James is dealing with Thai time keeping well which is a surprise to both of us. We had suki for lunch, this is a big bowl of soup that you cook your own veg, meat and seafood in, it was fantastic. Walking around some of the ancient temples was a peacefull way to spend the afternoon. The train journey back was interupped with regular mosquito swatting sessions from James.

Back to Thai lessons tomorrow.
